The Veterans Memorial Recreation Area (The Vets) is a 50-acre recreational area located within the 680-acre Great Gains Forest conservation land. It is operated by the Franklin Outing Club, a 501(c)(3) volunteer-run nonprofit organization. Your support can help us maintain and improve The Vets for our community. Here are some ways you can support us:
July Prize Calendar
Support the Franklin Outing Club, operator of the Veterans Memorial Recreation by purchasing our July Prize Calendar.
Calendars can be purchased from board members Robyn Morrill or Julie Bission or right here online. You can also pay via Venmo - @franklinoutingclub. We will have calendars at Franklin's Community Day May 11th and Winni River Days June 14th and 15th.
They are $10 per calendar, you can buy multiple calendars for more chances to win!
When purchased online, we will mail you your tickets for each calendar purchased and a copy of the calendar so you can know the daily prizes.
Drawings will be held starting July 1st.
Winners will be posted daily during the month of July on the Veterans Memorial Recreation Area Facebook page.
